Music Ministry

 

Opportunities

The Chancel Choir prepares a variety of music, with a foundation in traditional music. They sing regularly for the 8:30 and 11:00 AM Sunday worship services, as well as for a number of special services. Music Director, Gordon Parr directs this choir, which rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 7:15 PM. ~ Ages youth and adult (they are on a break for the summer and will resume rehearsals in the fall)
 
 Faithful Chorus is open to men and women of all ages. They provide special music typically once a month. Ted Leonard directs this group, which meets at 6:30 PM on Wednesday evenings. ~ Ages youth and adult
 

 St. Luke’s Bell Choir is a hand bell choir that provides music for many services. While previous hand bell experience is not required, members do need to have good music-reading ability. Mark Smeland directs this group, which meets on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 PM. ~ Ages youth and adult

  Master’s Music Maker Choir is for children in Kindergarten or 5 years of age—2nd grades. The children prepare and enjoy a variety of music, singing once a month in alternating services. Additionally, they join forces with the Joyful Noise choir and sing for an Annual Christmas Music special event. Rehearsal is held Sunday mornings in room 5 from 8:45-9:45 AM. ~ Ages Kindergarten(age 5) ~ 2nd Grade

 Joyful Noise Choir is for older children Third grade thru 5th grade. THe children prepare and enjoy a variety o fmusic, singing in the servives. This choir is joined by the Master Music Maker's Choir for an Annual Christmas Music special event and an end of the school year special music night. Rehearsal is held Sunday Mornings in room 12 from 8:45 - 9:45. ~ Third thru Fifth grade.
